$20,000+ in FREE JKD classes, Blog Series Part 2

If you have not read yesterday’s entry… do it first… Here we go on some more issues:

4. Rockford staff openings: Although we?ll be opening up our staff opportunities for both locations, we have immediate learning opportunities at our Rockford location. Keep an eye on our staff training events later on this summer, and if you go to Rockford, contact me asap.

5. Web site overhaul, including student only section: I might be most excited about this expansion at EDS. There are obviously several things which need updating on our web site, so that goes without saying. Featured students, new published articles, new pics (over 100 of them), are all being added.

However, the thing which is really getting my engine going is the video section of the site. Did you know our videos have racked up tens of thousands of hits? The thing that surprises me is that there are many students who have not even viewed one of our videos!

Think of them as your own private at home tutor, so you can review many of the key points we teach in our classes. What we found out was that the majority of our video views are coming from people outside our school! Although this is a great compliment, I really want these vids for my students. The people who put in the time and pay the money for our classes.

That is why we will be launching a ?student only? section to our web site. This part of the site will be a ?pay per view? part of the site for those around the world ? but totally FREE for all of our students. As we upgrade and expand our videos I mainly want them to be for my students eyes only. Upon completion, all of my students will receive a personalized pass code for the ?student only? section where you can view the videos the rest of the net surfers can?t.

These updates to the site should be up and running within a month or two, so stay posted. Once again, we?re very excited about this project!

6. Referral tips to getting free training: If you are not utilizing our ?Greatest Referral Policy In the World? you are nuts. This means that if you?ve been with us for about a year, there is no reason you should still be paying for lessons. Curious? Confused?

Good ? listen up. The second you register as a student and pay for your first month?s lesson you are eligible to start cashing in on our referral program. Here are the details:
1 Referral: $50 in equipment/multi media
2nd, 3rd, and 4th Referral: $100 each in cash
5th Referral: Free additional year of classes
6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Referral: $100 each in cash
10th Referral: Immediate stop on paying for lessons? forever. That is right, you get a free lifetime membership at EDS!

I?ve been teaching for around 15 years? and have had this policy in for almost that long. Let?s just say I had a student take me up on this offer way back when ? and get 10 referrals within that first year. Here is what they would have received:

$50 in equipment/multi media
$700 (!) in cash
? But now here is the kicker. They would have received over $20,000 in lessons for FREE.

Now many of you are asking? ?How do I go about getting referrals?? Let?s take a step back and first ask why I implemented this crazy policy in the first place. Is there a business payoff for me and EDS? obviously. However, that is not my number reason.

I?ve said it before, and I?ll say it again? One of my biggest blessings in raising my schools from the ground up is the quality of people who become my students. As I have several friends around town who also own martial arts schools (yes, we do actually talk to each other), I find out how many? pardon my language? Jagoffs! populate their schools.

You know the types? Ego bursting adults, parents who throw their kids in and don?t care, teens who have severe anger issues, and others who just want to learn to ?beat some a**? (as I?ve heard students from other places say). I just don?t want those people at my place. At the very least they are wearing, and the worse they cause problems.

My game plan from the start works under the assumption that good people hang around good people. And so far, my theory has held true 99% of the time. As a result I love teaching every day, my staff appreciates it more, and other students get that good vibe in class from others more times than not. Does that make a little more sense? I hope so.

That is why I hope we can help each other out. You bring in more high quality people (like yourself), and my staff and I stay happy, motivated, and at ease teaching what we teach. I?ll write more about ?how? you can easily get 10 referrals within 12 months at EDS. ? I?ll actually show you how to get your 10 within 8 weeks. Imagine? never pay for lessons again at EDS by June.

Tune in tomorrow, as I?ll also be covering:
