I’m contacting you because you noted that you were interested in helping out with one or both of the Schaumburg Flyer Baseball game demo/safety seminars this weekend. If you cannot make the games you signed up for on the board, please call me directly at 630.837.7565.
If you can, here are the details you’ll need below.
Friday’s game starts at 6:45pm – I’ll need the assistants to show up at 5:15pm.
Saturday’s game starts at 6:05pm – I’ll need the assistants to show up at 4:35pm.
We are holding the event about 30-45 minutes before the start of the game. Here are some chronological notes:
1. Arrive at the front entrance at the time stated above. These are the main doors which lead you to the offices. I will be paying for the tickets of the assistants. If you need more tickets for family members, please call me today to let me know how many. Friday’s game costs $11 and Friday’s game cost $10 per ticket.
2. All assistants should be dressed in their EDS class T-shirt. Shorts, jeans, pants, are fine for bottoms.
3. I’ll be starting a quick meeting with all those involved shortly after the arrival time. I’ll review what I’ll need from both the adult and youth assistants, along with some additional notes.
4. Time will fly and before you know it, we’ll be escorted out to the field. We could have 10 kids come on down, or 110. I have plans for both large and small groups. You’ll be taught what I’m teaching in the pregame meeting.
5. After the demo you are welcome to stay or leave. My family and I will be staying for both games. All of our tickets will be in the same area.
