3 months… I have a solid 3 months ahead of me of some massive programs and projects I’ll be launching. And, yesterday was the first one.
In short, I wanted to make sure I have some extra focus when I start my morning, so I decided that I’d do a very short run every morning Monday-Friday, put on some motivating music, and ram through some serious work from sun up till sun… a… till after the sun goes down.
I know if I wanted to do this (work stuff), and improve some of my physical habits, such as my diet, I needed something every morning to really get me pumped… So as I fall out of bed at 6am, I fall into my running shoes and I’m out the door.
Yesterday was the first day, and the running felt good. But then I continued on my new lifting program which Stephanie and I started about three weeks ago and doing a heavy leg day put my hernia (groinal… which I’ve had for about 8 years now) into massive pain.
For those who don’t know, I’ve had three hernias during my life… first one at 3 months of age. Must have been born with a weak midsection. Had my last one in-between football seasons during my Sophomore and Junior years in College. That one was caused by super heavy squats.
So as I’m sitting here in some serious pain, I’m now pretty motivated to get this thing fixed around the holidays. ? I should have a break around then?
… But for now, back to training. Too busy.
I’ll be updating the blog about every day Mon-Fri. Like I said big stuff happening at and with EDS and I want to share it with everyone. I have some new video I?ll also spotlight on the student only site!
