Hope this blog finds you all in good health. I wanted to update everyone on some upcoming events here at EDS. After speaking with Sifu Matt, I am VERY excited and proud that he will be teaching two great events, along with some incredible staff contributions.
He will be hosting and teaching a 2 hour Women’s Self Defense Seminar. The cost will be $19 minimum. Here is the catch….all of the proceeds will be tallied and donated to WAVE and CCSS. Both of these groups are Domestic Violence Victim Shelters serving the area.
Also, he will have collection boxes for goods such as toys, coats, clothes, diapers, etc. Both organizations have expressed that they have a major shortage on these types of items. Kind of sad to think that many of their clients leave in the middle of the night with nothing but their children and maybe a handbag. I am asking that you bring a friend, neighbor, spouse, sister or any female that you know.
Following the Women’s Seminar, he will be teaching a 3 hour Edged Weapon/Knife Defense seminar!!!
This will be packed with information and drills that you won’t find anywhere else!!! The cost is $59 preregister and $79 at the door. HE WILL BE INCLUDING A FREE TRAINING KNIFE!!!! Make sure that you register early so we can have the appropriate supply. I have left flyers at both locations if you want to pass them out. Feel free to contact Sifu Matt for more details. EDS really believes in the causes and purpose of this event and we all feel blessed to be able to hold an event like this. Come show your support, learn, train, have a blast…..and help someone at the same time. Hope to see you all there.
