Holiday Homework, Studying Fights

*Child warning*

We’re taking off the 24th of this month until January first. Please rest up your body, because January will be “go time”, as we’ll be pumping up the intensity in all of the classes… Yes, even the youth ones.

That doesn’t mean we can’t study some fight footage though! First let me warn you that these video clips are NOT for children to watch. So if you have junior on your lap reading this, please dismiss him/her from the room.

This is mainly meant for my adult students. Even my parents of the youth students… You’ll learn stuff too. Let’s watch now, and talk more later. Watch the clips, and answer the questions to keep your mind sharp over the break!

These Youtube clips will probably need you to sign in, as there is a “Child Warning”… they are pretty brutal, but will serve as a great learning experience for all of us. Here you go!

Answer these questions:

1. What ranges did you see in action?

2. Name three ways this fight differed from a tournament fight.

3. What surprised you about the fight?

My goal here is NOT to be offensive, so I appologize about the “rawness” of the video/language. Sometimes we need to look at the bad to serve the greater good.

Much more videos and questions to come, so stay tuned through the holidays.

Merry Christmas to you – and your family.

Lee, Love and Life,

Sifu
