Lucky, Noah! I too want to thank Dustin and all the NAGA team mates for putting in the time, pushing eachother, and like Noah said, making it a lot of fun. We can all be proud of how we did. Major props to Mike for taking the silver with a BROKEN HAND, by the way. Thanks Travis for putting together some really cool team shirts. They were a thousand times nicer than some of the ones we saw at NAGA. (flaming celtic knots, seriously?!) So, to the NAGA team, just want to list some of my top 10 things I will remember fondly about our time together:
1. Joe-Unit coming out of his shell a bit
2. Travis' secret submission defense
3. at least half the team being in serious need of pedicures
4. training at Lalo's
5. Tim Hill's huge bag filled with a lot of pastel
6. "However comma" and "that being said"
7. Tim doing his best to make everyone really uncomfortable at least once, including Noah's mom!
8. Larry's awesome double-leg takedown
9. Noah (a.k.a. Wolverine) slicing and dicing every sparring partner
10. fireman carries, bringing us all closer together!
I hope many of us return to train for October and that anyone else thinking about it gives it a try. You guys are the best!

Yeah, I had a blast before, during, and after the fights. I got to see Tim's butt cheeks like 15 times :P

Personally I will be attending the next one in October, either in the Mens Intermediate or as a referee/staff.

It was a great time!!

Congrats to all the winners, and to everyone that even had the guts to get in there and compete. I think we all learned alot about ourselves and each other over these past few months and especially the last few days. I think the mental and physical lessons we learned will benefit all of us not just in any future competitions but life in general.

I really want to thank everyone involved in making this happen, it wouldn?t have been the same without any of you guy?s and gal?

Sadly Dustin is leaving, and I realy want to thank him for the time he put in and the knowledge he passed on, it was truely invaluable?.but on the bright side he did an awesome job preparing us for what was for most our first grappling competition of any kind, and for I think all of us far from our last. I personally can not wait for the next naga to come around so we can all get in there and mix it up again, and hopefully have some fresh faces wanting to feel the rush of competition and take themselves outside of their comfort level to achieve their goals.

Great job EDS naga team!
