Andy has been in Shoryn-Ru style Karate in his hometown in PA for 3 1/2 years. He liked the Friday night sessions with contact bouts for 3 minutes, but disliked the artificial nature of the points being awarded. He chose EDS after reading and agreeing with the multiple ranges.  He found the training VERY practical minded, unlike the prior regimented style. In order to know a subject best, one MUST be able to teach it, so he wanted to be not just a good student, but also an instructor.
